In short
It is easy to get started and produce a first version of your budget or forecast. In essense - first configure which time frame to work with, then check template settings and update employee information as imported from PE accounting. After that, handle revenue and OPEX switfly using the Other Revenue / OPEX / CAPEX app. Input in this app is done per account.
Regarding revenue; You can also input numbers in either the agreements or the consultancy app instead. If you choose to input number per account or via one of these app does not matter, do whats fits you best.
Finally - Once done; Go to the Financial report/PnL app and check how it all turned out!
Step by step
1. Verify that correct periods are used and that those that are closed are marked with Yes in "Locked".
- From the start page go to admin and select dimension YearMonth. Filter on the year you want to administer. Make sure all periods that should be used have "Yes" set in "Open for planning". For the "Locked" column, enter "Yes" for all periods that have actuals which should be used instead. Input on these periods will not be allowed.
2. Verify Template settings (see description in app)
- Go to app "Template settings" and follow the description in information tab.
